Swedish or parasympathetic massage – This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping. It helps you feel relaxed and energized.

Deep Tissue Massage – This massage technique uses slower, more-forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s commonly used to help with muscle damage from injuries.

Trigger Point Massage – This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse.

Russian Sports Massage – Russian sports massage is a massage technique developed in the former Soviet Union. It features similar techniques to other sports massage practice, but with slower, softer motions. This is due to the fact that Russian massage focuses on the use of friction to generate heat within the body. The main techniques are focused on four main groups: stroking, rubbing, kneading and vibrations. It includes a range of motion exercises combined with vibration that is used to ease muscle pain and stiffness. It can help to alleviate mental stress and has been believed to aid in the functioning of the nervous system, immune system and respiratory system.

Myofascial Release Massage – Is a type of physical therapy often used to treat myofascial pain syndrome. This is a chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in your myofascial tissues. These tissues surround and support the muscles throughout your body. Myofascial release focuses on reducing pain by easing the tension and tightness in the trigger points.

Pregnancy Massage – Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Hot Stone Massage – A hot stone massage uses smooth, flat, heated stones that are placed on specific parts of the body or be used with Swedish massage techniques over the entire body. It it used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout the body.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage – is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up. Lymphatic drainage massages can benefit people with lymphedema, fibromyalgia, swelling or edema, skin disorders, fatigue, insomnia, stress, digestive problems, arthritis and migraine episodes.

PNF – Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is an advanced form of flexibility training. It involves the contraction and stretching of muscles. It is designed to relax muscles and increase tone or activity. It involves both passive and active muscle actions.

Cupping – is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and is a type of deep-tissue massage.
